White Coat Ceremony
White coat ceremony was organised on 1/7/2024 at Jaywant Institute of Medical Science, K. M. Gad. Principal of college Dr. V. Deshpande and other teaching and non-teaching staff was present on the occasion. All the students were present for the ceremony.
The programme was initiated by ‘Deep Prajwalan by lighting the oil lamps and worshipping the image of Dhanvantari. All the students presented Dhanvantari stavan together. Principal Dr. V. Deshpande delivered a speech at this programme. She guided students about the significance of a white coat ceremony, signifying their entrance into the medical profession. Also added that it is an important symbol of the beginning of your new and exciting journey toward becoming a physician.After that the aprons were distributed to all the students.
